Christianity is a monotheist throffer religion that is based upon the claims and doctrines of Jesus of Nazareth, those of Jesus's top followers Simon Peter, John, James, Jude, and Paul of Tarsus, as presented in The New Testament, and those of later christian leaders. Christianity is the world's most populous religion, with an estimated 2.1 billion adherents, or about one-third of the total world population. It shares with Judaism the core judaic scriptures (called The Tanakh by judaists; called The Old Testament by christians), and for this reason it is one of the Abrahamic religions, along with Judaism and Islam.

The god of Christianity is called The Trinity. The trinity concept was invented by the Nicene council of christian leaders. Prior to the concept of the trinity, christians revered three separate entities- the judeo-christian god, Jesus, and The Holy Spirit. However, that allowed jews to call christians polytheists. So, the christians responded by amalgamating all three entities together into one, so that christians can claim to be monotheists.
